Job Description

We are looking for a Logistics Officer to join our classical furniture company. The role is essential in ensuring that furniture products are transported, stored, and delivered safely and on time. The Logistics Officer will manage supply chain activities, coordinate with suppliers and customers, and make sure operations run smoothly.

Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.


Working Experience

Minimum 2 years of experience in logistics or supply chain (preferably in furniture )

Required Skills

•  Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels of furniture items and raw materials.

• Transportation Coordination: Arrange delivery schedules, manage drivers, and ensure timely distribution of products.

• Warehouse Operations: Oversee storage, loading, and unloading of furniture in warehouses.

• Documentation: Prepare and maintain shipping documents, invoices, and delivery notes.

• Supplier & Customer Communication: Coordinate with suppliers for raw materials and customers for delivery updates.

• Cost Control: Track logistics expenses and suggest cost-saving measures.

• Compliance: Ensure all logistics activities follow company policies and government regulations.

• Reporting: Provide regular updates on inventory, deliveries, and logistics performance.

• Strong organizational and communication skills.

• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

• Knowledge of warehouse management and transportation systems.

• Computer skills (MS Office, ERP systems are a plus).
