Job Description

  • Plans, organize and implements Import Strategy and activities when approved consistent with overall aims and requirements of the organizations
  • Manage the movement of paper, ink, chemical etc.. Coming into the country accordance with organizational policy and procedure and to comply with relevant local and international laws and processes. That is follow up from point of the supplier until delivery to the company premise/warehouses
  • Keep appropriate and accurate records regarding shipping schedules, letter of credit, credit control mechanism, licenses, declaration, packing lists, bill of ladings, commercial invoices, transport and safety documentation, etc. and share to concerned sections
  • Keep the necessary documentation and forms for the efficient, cost-effective and lawful execution of all import activities and hand over to concerned sections or relevant authority as required
  • Follow up claims, liaise with suppliers and concerned government office and handles all communication

Job Requirement

  • University graduate with degree of Bachelor of Art Procurement and Supply Management field s
  • Experience 7 years out of which 3-4 years on relevant managerial positions
