Job Description
- Manage the Quality control of Laboratory in a way that provides accurate results that to be proactively involved in the promotion and implementation of good packaging practices in the Production Department.
- Ensure the implementation of ISO and Food safety Management System in the company
- Has to implement and manage Quality Assurance System to be compliant with regulations.
- Ensure and closely follow the implementation of ISO; Food Safety and Quality Management system across the company.
- Develops department strategic, medium and short term plans and budgets and submit for approval
- Develop various policies that are appropriate to the purpose of the company and ensure they are communicated, understood, implemented and maintained within the organization;
- Ensuring that the quality management system conforms to the requirements of this International Standard
- Reporting on the performance of the quality management system and on opportunities for improvement in particular to top management;
- Ensures relevant management and operational systems are developed and implemented and reviews their suitability, adequacy, and effectiveness
- Establishes systems and guidelines for how to take samples, taste, and give feed backs to the user work units
- Ensures that sample taking and testing activities are undertaken as per the established as well as international standard.
- Guide checking of and take corrective action on all deviations, regarding
- Ensure proper housekeeping is maintained in the plant; and instruct for appropriate corrective actions.
- Analyses data to identify the root cause of quality problems
- Ensure proper discipline is maintained in the team, take disciplinary measures as appropriate.
- Ensures that retention sample taking and retention analysis is performed timely, appropriately and as to the standard.
- Maintain Highest standards of housekeeping and occupational safety in the company
- Mentor and coach employees assigned in the work unit
Job Requirement
- BSC degree in Applied Chemistry, Food Science, Chemical Engineering and Related fields of Study
- More than six years’ experience on the position.
- ISO and Food safety Management Training and valuable experience in its implementation
- Working experiences in Food Processing Industries, especially in Quality Managements system is required
