Job Description
- Develop project proposal, concept notes, work plans, monitoring plans, and compile progress reports implementing partners, donor plans and reports programme in collaborations with relevant team
- Provide management and oversight to support implementing patterns for the different projects and ensure timely delivery of progress reports and adequate implementation of project activities
- Advise the GBV/SHR department in fundraising actions and donor mapping exercise
- Support other programs of NCS such as humanitarian program, peace building in need assessment and other program
- Conduct frequent field visits and monitor project implementation progress and identify and address implementation challenges in collaboration with GBV/SHR program team and NCA country team
- Lead the development of success stories and documentation of best practices of different projects especially UN supported projects
- Undertake any other duties as appropriate and within the post holders capabilities
Job Requirement
- Master’s/First degree in Gender Studies, social work, sociology, psychology with wide range of hands-on experience in managing gender based violence and harmful practices (FGM and Child Marriage) Projects
- At least 5/7 years of project management (project design, implementation, reporting writing in the mentioned thematic areas )
- Proven Experience on gender equality, women empowerment and gender based violence as well as women’s right issues
- Demonstrated experience in grant management skill donor funded projects, such as UN agencies and other institutional donors
- Organize and coordinate networking, experience sharing and advocacy events including representing NCA in key relevant external meeting at times high-level donor meetings
- Very good knowledge of the policy and strategies related to gender harmful practices and donor key development area
- Excellent computer skills including MS office Including Excel, Access Power point and word
- Other Virtual skill for managing communications and project monitoring
