· Comply with safety instructions, demonstrate safe work habits and use of all equipment and facilities provided in a safe and responsible manner. · Follow and present sketches showing locations of wiring and equipment, read and interpret electrical diagrams & blueprints · Develop and plan preventive maintenance inspections and repairs in all plant facilities. Prioritize, schedule and take work in consultation with the Electrical Supervisor. · References PLC programs and uses them to troubleshoot automated equipment · Assemble, Installs, test, maintains, and repairs/replace a wiring, a variety of control and instrumentation devices, equipment, appliances, and indoor & outdoor lighting systems using hand tools, power tools and test equipment. · Respond to emergency electrical calls such as power outage and failures. Evaluate situation and take proper corrective action. · Undertake activities that will include carrying, lifting, bending, and stretching. Working conditions include restricted movement, dirty environment, etc. Perform other such tasks as needed and as requested by electrical supervisor and/or production manager.
