Burka Cups, under BA manufacturing PLC, is a privately owned company established in 2020 in Alemgena-Sebeta, Ethiopia. We are specialized in manufacturing of thermoformed plastic packaging for the diary and beverage industries particularly made from polypropylene. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Receives, mails, documents, reports and correspondences delivered to the office.
- Submits same to superior and after registering routes as per the instructions given.
- Followup the proper and the prompt implementation of the activities required to be accomplished by the Executive Director.
- Reviews incoming and outgoing correspondences and briefs the superior on selected matters.
- Files correspondences and other materials.
- Sees that conference rooms are ready for use avails materials necessary and takes notes of minutes of understanding.
- Answers and screens telephone calls to the Executive Director and takes messages and refers callers to appropriate official.
- Composes routine correspondences and dictations and types accordingly.
- Schedules appointments for superior and reminds him/her/ when they are due, arranges reserve accommodations as per the instructions of the superior.
- Properly administers the office of the Executive and observes the timely and proper clearing of the floors, walls, desks, and chairs.
- Assumes full responsibility for the proper handling of all office equipment and furnitures available in the office of the Executive Director.
- Regulates the smooth flow of information between the office of the Executive Director and other organizational components.
- Operates reproduction machines available in the office.
- Aids the superior by examining letters before and after signature and notifies him/her if there are same irregularities.
- Acts as a receptionist for the office and explains for guests and guides them the right Executive.
- Disposes inquiries of routine nature without consulting the superior.
- Performs such other duties as may be required by the superior.
Job Requirements
- College Diploma/Degree in Secretarial Science and Office Management or related field
- 4 years related experience
