Job Purpose/Summary
The HR Manager is responsible for building the organization and HR operations while setting a good culture in the organization. The HR manager is responsible for the development and operations of all employee administration, recruitment, retention, productivity, lay-offs and development plans and policies & processes. Next to this the HR manager is responsible for all government relations including licenses and permits as well as facilitating labor legal matters.
Accountabilities
- Execution of Establish/update needed policies and procedures within the department and oversee the implementation in the company.
- Plans, organization, coordination and supervision of the overall activities of human Resources Department.
- Effective implementation of HR process such as: recruitment, onboarding, training and development, performance management and employee relations.
- Manage employee grievances disciplinary issues and other administrative issues according to the labour laws regulations and the organization procedure or administrative manual.
- Manage overall company training program by conducting training need assessment, monitor yearly training plan and document trainings reports.
- Ensure employee satisfaction and retention
- Ensure productivity by effectively monitoring, tracking, implementing KPIs in all departments.
- Liaises with local legal attorney on employment law matters
- Build and maintain relationship with different public organizations regarding labor relations. and keep a close eye on regulatory changes and implementations affecting Human Resources.
- Maintain a keen understanding of policy trends and regulatory changes affecting Daye Bensa and make appropriate recommendations regarding Human Resource strategy surrounding them.
- Other tasks assigned by the line manager
Job Requirements
- Master or bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management or comparable field
- minimum 7 years of relevant work experience for a private organization in an HR function of which a minimum of 3 years in a supervisor role
Skills
- Good analytical and critical-thinking skills
- A good understanding of HR operations
- Good communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Experience in government relations or comparable
- Ability to manage, guide, and lead employees
- Keen attention to detail
